MISSION STATEMENT


The mission of the Laurence Manning Academy Athletic Program is to instill in students a commitment to athletic excellence at all levels of participation that will contribute to the development of their individual characters.

The purpose of Laurence Manning Academy Booster Club is to facilitate volunteerism and financial support all student athletes.

Pay Athletic Fees and Booster Club Memberships Online

 - Follow the link provided to pay your Athletic Fees and Booster Club Memberships. Please make sure to fill out the email, name, and phone number information. 

Complete Your Sports Physical and Athlete Information Forms Online

 There are several options for filling out your Athletic Participation Clearance Packet and sports physicals. 

 

1. Traditional Method - Download both of the forms linked to the two buttons below, print the documents, fill out and sign every part of the clearance packet, and turn the information in by hand at the physical clinic , or turn your information in to the LMA offices. Of course, anybody who would like to stop by the school and pick up a clearance package and physical in person may do so as well. 

 

2.  Electronic Submission -

 - Your desktop/laptop device must have Adobe Reader installed for this option to work, if you do not have Adobe Reader, no worries, its a free download HERE 

 - Once you have Adobe Reader installed, you will choose the athletic participation packet below and enter your information in the document. Save the document with the student-athlete's name, and email the document to 

lmaathletics@lmaedu.org.  Be sure to complete the Adobe Sign Process to certify your document or print the document after completing the form and sign manually.  

 - To use the Adobe Sign feature, click on the pen tip in the top right corner of the Packet window, hold down the mouse click to sign your names on the signature lines. 

- The Physical Paperwork must be printed and filled out/signed by a physician.

Discount Card Incentives

 

 

K3-1st Grade  –

  • For every 3 cards sold, kids get to dig in the treasure chest for a prize OR get a free ice cream at lunch in the cafeteria

  • When 10 cards are sold, a dress down day will be awarded.

  • For kids that sell 15 cards total, they will be given a pizza party for lunch one day at school.

 

2rd  Grade - 5th Grade –

  • Ice cream at lunch free when 6 cards are sold

  • 10 cards sold = Friday extended recess by 30 minutes and a dress down day will be awarded

  • Sell 15 cards, invited to pizza party for lunch one day at school.

 

6th, 7th & 8th Grade –

  • 5 sold 1 Extra Credit Quiz grade in class of choice

  • 10 sold

    • 2 extra credit quiz grades in classes of choice (1 per class)

    •  1 tardy excused

    • dress down day will be awarded.

  • 15 sold

    • 3 quiz grades in three different classes of choice

    •  2 tardies excused

    • name goes into pot to win $50 (2 drawings)

  • 20 sold

    •  Excused Day off (responsible for work)

    •  name goes into pot to win $100 (2 drawings)

  • 30 sold = free meal at Porter Jacks

 

9th grade – 12th Grade–

  • 5 sold 1 Extra Credit Quiz grade in class of choice

  • 10 sold

    • 2 extra credit quiz grades in classes of choice (1 per class only)

    •  1 tardy excused

    • dress down day will be awarded.

  • 15 sold

Instructions for viewing LMA Sports Calendars

Laptop/Desktop Users: 

-      Simply click on the schedule you would like to view, and a calendar of the current monthwill appear with the teams’ scheduled games that you selected to view. 

-      If you need to see games for the next month or previous month, simply click the blue arrows in the upper left corner of the screen beside the month. 

-      If you would like to see the games listed in order by datesimply click the “agenda” tab in the top right corner of the screen to view a listing of games. 

Mobile Users: ***It is best to view the mobile calendar by holding the phone horizontally***

-      Same directions as above, just turn your phone horizontal. 

SCISA Athletic Forms
As mandated by South Carolina Independent Schools Association (SCISA) and Laurence Manning Academy, ALL forms must be completed and returned before any student is eligible to practice or play.
