HELP HAYLEIGH BRUNSON (K-5) WIN TOYOTA/NASCAR DESIGN CONTEST

    Hayleigh Brunson, a student in Mrs. Dinkin’s K5 class, has designed a Swampcat themed NASCAR at the Toyota website and is participating in a national competition for best design.  If she wins, she will win a week at Daytona Speedway and her car design will be used for the #20 car during the race!!

LMA Literary Magazine Seeks Submissions

Let's show-off your talents! LMA's new student arts magazine seeks student submissions in short fiction, poetry, essays, photography, sketches, and paintings. Following the inaugural edition in April 2010, first place prizes will be awarded in each category.

Students are seeking "Friends of LMA Arts" to help cover production costs.  Supporters will be listed in the publication and donations may be made in the following categories:

        $10-$50    Sponsor

        $51-$100   Patron

        over $100  Guardian

The magazine is a student production and is sponsored by faculty members Sandy Richardson and Brittany Odom.

LMA Discount Cards on sale from PAT

     LMA Discount Cards are now available from the PAT. The cards are $10.00 each and provide discounts for restaurants and businesses in the Manning and Sumter area.  Some of the local businesses included on the card are; Sonic, Pizza Hut, Zaxbys, The Compass Restaurant, Dinkins Auction, Piggly Wiggly and many more. The discount cards can be purchased from either the High School or Lower School office or at home Basketball games from a member of the PAT. Please help support the PAT by purchasing the discount cards!
